مؤخّراً، ظهرت الممثّلة غونغ سيونغ يون (Gong Seung Yeon) ضيفةً في برنامج You Quiz on the Block الذي يُعرض على قناة tvN.

إلّا أن هذه الحلقة استرعت الانتباه بسبب حذف أيّ ذكرٍ للمسلسل الكوريّ المثير للجدل Perfect Crown، الذي وُجّهت إليه انتقاداتٌ بسبب التحريف التاريخيّ.

في الحلقة، قدّم يو جاي سوك (Yoo Jae Suk) الممثّلة غونغ سيونغ يون بقوله إنها شخص بلغ ذروة مسيرته بعد 15 عاماً من ظهوره الأوّل، لكن اسم المسلسل حُذف بسبب الجدل.

وغضب المعجبون من حذف لحظةٍ مميّزة كانت تحتفي بذروة مسيرتها المهنية.

apparently about 10mins of Gong Seungyeon’s segment in Yoo Quiz discussing her role in PC was cut because of the censoring…when this should’ve been a moment celebrating the peak of her career…in the end only the actors suffer while MBC continues to make money off of it

في غضون ذلك، حظيت غونغ بإشاداتٍ إيجابية على أدائها بدور البطلة المساعدة، وهو ما أدّى إلى ظهورها ضيفةً في البرنامج.
